The Keleher Research Group at Lewis University

Welcome to the Keleher Research Group

The undergraduate experience in the Chemistry Department at Lewis University aims to immerse students in the scientific research processes as they work on a long-term research project with a faculty mentor.

In its sixth year at Lewis, the Keleher Research Group (KRG) focuses on the synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials for applications ranging from composite materials for advanced aviation safety applications, flexible materials for alternative energy applications, biomimietic antimicrobial nanomaterials for healthcare applications, photocatalytic nanocomposites for water purification applications, and mechanistic studies relevant to Chemical Mechanical Planarization of advanced semiconductor and data storage materials.
